Clamp for circular workpieces

The clamp has fixed jaws (7,8), which are formed on a base (1), and a clamp section, which is movable in the direction of the jaws. The clamp section is actuated by a rotatable tensioning bolt (12) to move with respect to the base. The bolt fits in a threaded bore in the base, which is perpendicular to the clamping direction (22). The bolt has a conical head (18), which is aligned in a bore (20) of the clamp, which extends in the movement direction of the clamp. At least the inner wall section of the bore next to the bolt is conical. The angles of the screw head (18) and the inner wall section are similar.
