A restricting thermostatic valve (30) is installed in the heating bypass (25) and is located upstream or downstream of the heat exchanger (22) when viewed in the direction of flow. The thermostatic valve has a short circuit connection (31) to which is connected a line (32) bypassing the heat exchanger. When a predetermined temperature is exceeded the thermostatic valve closes, reducing its flow passage and amount of throughflow of cooling medium.
