The yarn brake, at a yarn store and feed system, has armature plates (6, 7) at the yarn guide sleeve (8) at end side of the coils (15, 16). The gap between them is greater than the axial length of the mounting sleeve (9), forming the end side limit for the armature plates (6, 7). Preferably the gap between the armature plates (6, 7) is adjustable. The limits are rubber buffers, and especially rubber rings (11). The coil body (9) forms the mounting housing. At least one armature plate (6, 7) has an inner threading, to be screwed on to the outer threading of the yarn guide sleeve (8), and secured by a locking nut (14). |
