Aid for small children to go to sleep

The noise-sensitive aid is designed to help small children to go to sleep. It comprises an acoustic switch (1), an electronic meter and a melody unit. The acoustic switch controls a drive unit (3) and selectively operates the melody unit (2). The acoustic switch holds the aid in a permanent state of readiness. The housing of the aid may be made of deep-drawn plastics material and the base may be made of wood. The electronic circuit may be tuned to react to specific sounds, eg. a baby crying.
