Curtain hook for rail or profiled support

The curtain, at least near its top edge, has holes or bands with holes in for creating pleats. The curtain hook has at least one guide or support for inserting into the rail or support. A preferably closeable hook part enables the curtain or curtain-band to fold. The curtain hook, in the part facing away from the guide or support, has a base-arm (6) pointing crosswise to the direction in which the curtain folds and parallel with the direction in which the curtain hook moves. Side arms (8) protrude from the ends of the base-arm to the guide or support. The side arms directly next to the base-arm enclose a space (9) and, next to it, a smaller space (10). The side arms form a U-shape with the base arm.
