Novel cosmetic or dermatological composition to remove make-up from nails (I) comprises at least one gel phase consisting of at least one elastomeric organopolysiloxane (II) and one organic phase (III) comprising one or more organic solvents (IV) with the average Hansen solubility parameters at 25 degrees C of dD ≤ 20 (J/cm<3>)<1/2> (1), dP ≤ 10 (J/cm<3>)<1/2> (2), and dH ≤ 15 (J/cm<3>)<1/2> (3). Also claimed is a method of removing make-up from nails comprising the application of (I).
