<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image in the same time requirement as in case of feeding paper from a paper feeding stage close to an image forming part even in case of feeding paper from a paper feeding stage positioned away from the image forming part. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with a control device 20 for performing the change control of the rotating speed of feed rollers 9A-9D in a plurality of paper feeding stages. When the second or lower paper feeding stage is selected, the control device 20 increases the rotating speed of the feed roller 9 in the selected paper feeding stage by the longer portion of the length of a paper conveying path 10 from the selected paper feeding stage to a register roller pair 19, a part of an image forming paper, compared to the length of the paper conveying path 10 from a paper feeding cassette 8A in the uppermost paper feeding stage to the register roller pair 19 so that an image is formed on transfer paper P at the same timing as the case of paper being fed from the uppermost paper feeding state. An image can therefore be formed at the same timing whichever paper feeding stage is selected.</p> |
