PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate composition substantially not problematic in plate out and smoking otherwise occurring during extrusion by adding a specified phosphate and a specified triazine to a polycarbonate resin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a linear or branched polycarbonate resin, a substituted aryl phosphite having a melting point of at least 170 deg.C and a substituted triazine having a melting point of at least 140 deg.C. The substituted aryl phosphite is represented by formula I (wherein R<12> s are the same or different alkyls), and the substituted triazine is represented by formula II (wherein R<13> is an alkyl; and R<14> s are the same or different aryls). R<12> is desirably a 3-7C alkyl, R<13> is desirably a 4-8C alkyl, and R<14> is phenyl.
|
