<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-power consumption and low-noise axial fan. SOLUTION: This fan is provided with multiple same blades 14, each blade 14 is strongly swept in one direction at its root 17, and it is strongly swept in the other direction at its tip 18. The warp and pitch of each blade 14 are decreased from the root 17 to the tip 18 of the blade 14. The root portion of the blade 14 performs most of the work of the fan. Since the sweep at the tip section 18 can be increased while the stress at the root 17 is kept small, the occurrence of noises at the tip portion 18 having a large linear speed can be effectively suppressed, and noises are reduced. Efficiency is increased, and power consumption is reduced.</p> |
