PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the minimization of a pressure loss on the filtrate supply side without increasing the occupancy area per unit area of a flow path material to be used in a filter cartridge for liquid or gas filtration by forming the flow path material of a monofilament fabric with an irregular shape cross section. SOLUTION: A woven textile with an average thickness of about 0.2mm is used as a woven sheet material formed by plainly weaving a PFA resin monofilament 10 of an irregular shape cross section. In addition, a filtration membrane material is of such a three-tier structure that polytetrafluoroethylene is used as a material and a membrane material 0.1mm thick with micropores of an average pore diameter of 1μm, for example, is pinched between the layers of the woven sheet material and the woven sheet material is pleated. Said materials are used to manufacture a filter cartridge of totally fluororesin. In this case, the monofilament 10 with a cross section having protrusions formed radically is preferably used. The alternative is the monofilament 10 with an X cross section.
