<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the non-uniformity of bin shift operation which occurs when a bin lowers and reduce noise by providing an ascent and descent means for lifting and lowering a bin unit supported in such a manner that it can ascend and descend for a sheet material treatment device main body in the vertical direction and providing a suppress means which suppresses force which acts on this ascent and descent means. SOLUTION: A sorter as a sheet material treatment device consists of a main body part and a bin unit, and the bin unit is constituted in such a manner that it can ascend and descend for the main body part. A lead cam 33 (33L, 33R) as an ascent and descent means of this bin unit is provided and is rotated by a drive mechanism 60 which transmits rotation force of a shift motor 61 through a gear train. A backlash removing mechanism 80 which suppresses force which acts on this lead cam 33 is provided, a shaft 84 and a one-way gear 83 are locked when the lead cam 33 rotates in the direction in which a bin 42B lowers, and torque is generated by a torque limiter 81 through a gear 82 to suppress force which attempts to rotate in the direction in which the lead cam 33 lowers.</p> |
