摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize combustion control by providing a fuel injection amount calculating means for calculating fuel injection amount based on calculated results from a targeted air-fuel ratio calculating means and detected results from an intake air amount detecting means when a compression stroke injection mode is selected. SOLUTION: In a later stage injection mode (compression stroke injection mode), intake air amount is obtained based on only unit intake air amount which is detected this time. This is because fuel is injected in a compression stroke and intake has been already completed at the time of calculating fuel injection time. A targeted A/F(targeted air/fuel ratio) is obtained by a Pe calculating part 80 and a targeted A/F computing part 90 based on a throttle opening. Fuel injection time is calculated based on the intake air amount and the targeted A/F to control a fuel injection valve 4 and inject fuel. Fuel injection control can be conducted by controlling the targeted A/F all the time, therefore, it is possible to stabilize combustion control for constant optimum operation of an internal combustion engine.
