PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type electromagnetic brake device for elevator hoist, in which abrasion limit of a brake lining can be accurately and easily confirmed. SOLUTION: In a drum type electromagnetic brake device for elevator hoist, in which a brake lining 5 is pushed to a brake drum 3 of an elevator hoist so as to generate the braking force, the brake lining 5 is provided with an abrasion limit display 6, which is colored with a color different from the brake lining itself, and time of replacement of the brake lining 5 is indicated when this abrasion limit display 6 disappears. |
