PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a conventional distillation plant and save on especially energy cost for the distillation plant. SOLUTION: A distillation plant 1 including a column 2 is provided. The column 2 consists of packings 240, 250 and an evaporation device 20a arranged along a perpendicular axis in a unit. In addition, the packings 240, 250 and the evaporation device 20a are formed so that a slight pressure drop is generated between the sump 24 of the column 2 and a head 25 during the operation of the plant. At least, either of two evaporation devices, i.e., a first evaporation device 20a or an intermediate evaporation device 20b and at least, either of two liquefaction devices, i.e., a first liquefaction device or an intermediate liquefaction device are provided. |
