<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method of zinc and lead from iron and steel dust which can recover the zinc and the lead at high volatility ratio and prevents the development of stuck material on a furnace wall and can execute the stable operation continuously for long time at the time of volatilizing and recovering zinc, etc., from the iron and steel dust in a rotary kiln. SOLUTION: Zinc and lead in iron and steel dust is reduced, volatilized and recovered by charging the iron and steel duct containing zinc and lead, a reducing agent and if necessary, a solvent as war material into the rotary kiln. In this case, at the area near the raw material charging end side in the rotary kiln, after reducing >=50wt.% of containing component into metallic iron by executing the reduction of iron oxide mainly contained in the iron and steel dust, the reduction-valatilization of mainly zinc and lead is executed in the area near the discharging end side in the kiln.</p> |
