PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of reporting the clogging of a filter to a crew while suppressing an increase of its manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A lighting means has the first lighting mode and the second lighting mode diflerent from the first lighting mode as the lighting mode for illuminating an air conditioner setting means 20. When no clogging occurs on a filter, the lighting mode is set to the first lighting mode which is the normal lighting mode. When clogging is detected, the lighting mode is set to the second lighting mode in which a blower mode display means 21 is blinked for display. The clogging of the filter can be reported to a crew while no dedicated alarm display device is provided.
