<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate a soln. of a compd. having oxidizing action such as ferric sulfate as a washing chemical agent to reutilize the regenerated soln. to continue deodorization by oxidizing a waste soln. generated by deodorization of gas-liquid contact by the aeration of ozone gas. SOLUTION: A soln. of a compd. having oxidizing action is composed of a soln. of ferric sulfate and, in a scrubber 3, gas to be treated and the washing soln. are brought to a continuous contact state and chemical reaction is generated by the gas-liquid continuos contact and the smell component of the gas to be treated is oxidized and deodorized while ferric sulfate is changed to ferrous sulfate. The waste soln. generated by this deodorization to be stored in the lower part of the scrubber 3 is sent to a neutralization tank 9 through piping 8 to be supplied to an ozone contact tank 5. Further, ozone gas is supplied from an ozone generator 11 through piping 12. Therefore., ferrous sulfate is regenerated to ferric sulfate by gas-liquid contact in the ozone contact tank 5.</p> |
