PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and simply analyze a gene in a target specimen to be analyzed without requiring a specific apparatus by adding a gene-binding Raman-active substance and a cohesive substance to a specimen and measuring the degree of cohesion of the cohesive substance. SOLUTION: A target specimen to be analyzed, which is at least one specimen among specimens subjected to DNA amplification by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) method, strand displacement amplification(SDA) method, ligase chain reaction(LCR) method, etc., a gene-binding cohesion-promoting substance (e.g. 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) and a cohesive substance (e.g. silver colloid) are prepared. The gene-binding cohesion-promoting substance and the cohesive substance are supplied to the specimen. The degree of the cohesive substance is measured to rapidly and simply analyze the gene in the target specimen to be analyzed without requiring a specific apparatus.
