PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable molding excellent in transparency, biodegradability and toughness by molding a composition prepared by adding a caprolactone monomer to a polylactate. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 85-70wt.% polylactate and 15-30wt.%ε-caprolactone.ε-Caprolactone used in an amount in this range functions to disperse the polylactic resin and to improve the transparency, decomposability and toughness. The polylactate is desirably on heaving a number-average Mn of 30,000-300,000 and may be one obtained by the ring opening polymerization of a lactide, the dehydrative polycondensation of lactic acid or the polymerization of a lactide and lactic acid. The polylactate can be perfectly decomposed in the living body within several months to one year into water and carbon dioxide which are harmless substances.
