PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the bonding of a leucocytic cell to a vascular endothelial cell and prevent disorders in a circulatory system or a brain by administering an extract of a beverage plant. SOLUTION: An extract of a favorite beverage plant, e.g. a seed of Theobroma cacao (preferably an albumen part, especially a cocoa which is a defatted albumen part) or a leaf of Camellia sinensis (preferably green tea, black tea or oolong tea, etc.) is administered to inhibit the bonding of a leucocytic cell to a vascular endothelial cell. Thereby, the ability of the leucocytic cell to bond to the vascular endothelial cell is measured to predict an influence in vivo or the extract can directly be used for the human body to expect the use thereof as one component of a pharmaceutical preparation in order to prevent both disorders in circulatory systems such as a blood vessel or the heart and cerebropathy such as cerebral hemorrhage. |
