PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractive looking outboard engine which can prevent rising of splashing. SOLUTION: The main body of an outboard engine is attached to a ship by an attaching bracket 18. The attaching bracket 18 is provided with a hollow pivot shaft 25 which can turn freely. The upper part of the pivot shaft 25 is attached to the outboard engine main body through an upper mount, and a lower mount housing 31 is fixed on the lower part and the lower mount housing 31 is attached to the outboard engine through a lower mount. A first blocking member 25a which prevents rising of splashing is placed inside the pivot shaft 25 and a second blocking member which prevents rising of splashing is placed in an opening between the lower mount housing and the outboard engine main body. |
