ANASTOMOTIC TOOL AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform remote anastomosis of blood vessels without piercing them by a method wherein a fastener supporting body and a fastener cam action member are relatively slid in accordance with handling of a handle and a fastener for surgical operation is simultaneously deformed to fix the blood vessels without piercing the first and the second blood vessels. SOLUTION: A surgical tool 10 receives a sampling blood vessel through a passage 18 of an anvil assembly 16 and a clip supported by the anvil assembly 16 is deformed simultaneously with operation of a handle assembly 12 and the clip fixes blood vessel tissues without piercing the blood vessel tissues. A lock knob 20 arranged on a frame 22 of the handle assembly 12 fixes the anvil assembly 16 under a lock condition surrounding the sampled blood vessel by remote operation. Levers 24a and 24b fitted on the frame 22 of the handle assembly 12 make a pusher 26 being a fastener enclosing member (a cam acting member) advance and close the clip supported by the anvil to fix tissues held by the anvil assembly 16.
