To suspend electrical or communication cables along an aerial steel messenger wi re, it is known to use cable suspension assemblies. With this invention, it may be poss ible to substantially increase the load holding capacity of the cable suspension assembl y and carry out multiple consequent installations of cables or cable bundles on the sa me cable suspension assembly.
