PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the joining with high precision by obtaining lap width of waterproof sheet accurately. SOLUTION: According to this join method of waterproof sheet, open ends of a plurality of waterproof sheet which are provided and spread like a cylinder on outer periphery of a segment of a shield tunnel are lapped and joined mutually. In this case, an open end part of existing waterproof sheet 5a is cut by a cutting means 13 which travel in the direction of circumference along an inner peripheral face of a shield machine so that predetermined lap width which is parallel with an open end part of waterproof sheet which is provided newly 5 is obtained, and the open end parts of the existing waterproof sheet 5a and the waterproof sheet which is provided newly 5 are joined at predetermined lap width in parallel mutually.
