PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate and feed a sheet which is conveyed on a conveyance face by a sheet conveying means without damaging the sheet by forming a first single conveyance nip at a specific position during rotation in a device which holds and rotates the sheet at the center of rotation. SOLUTION: A printing device has a feed table, and sheet on this feed table 2 is rotated when the sheet reaches a conveyance nip between a pair of conveying rollers 14 and 15. That is, the sheet is held in the vicinity of either of the conveyance nips, namely, a first conveyance nip constituted by the pair of conveying rollers 14 so that a pair of conveying rollers 15 which constitute a second conveyance nip leave from each other. Consequently, the sheet is rotated around the center 17 of rotation by the pair of conveying rollers 14. At this time, an angleαformed by a straight line which connects the first conveyance nip 14 with the center 17 of rotation for the direction of sheet conveyance is 70 deg. to 90 deg., and this first conveyance nip 14 is arranged at a position which is away from the center 17 of rotation by predetermined distance R.
