PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a complex reinforced with a carbon fibril material and having excellent mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This complex is composed of many carbon fibrils 10 having a form of fine vermicular tube, which is free from continuous heat-carbon-coat and has plural graphite layers 12, 13. The complex includes a carbon fibril material in a matrix, in which the length of the graphite layers 12, 13 along the axis 16 of the fibril is two times or more the diameter of the fibril, and the wall thickness of the fibril is about 0.1-0.4 time the outer diameter 20 of the fibril, in a matrix and further contains continuous fibers. |
