<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacture of a key with condition display, eliminate a necessity of power supply, and make it possible for a person who holds the key to confirm the latest condition of a lock to which he corresponds by reading the key directly. SOLUTION: A key with condition display has a head part 2 provided with a window which displays a surface part of a cylinder of a key main body 4. Two grooves which are provided and extended on a half of circumference of the main body 4 are deviated by 180 degrees mutually and end in a hole. A pin 12 is pressed against a bottom of the hole by a spring 13 at the use position. When torque to be applied on the head part 2 of the key increases, the pin 14 jumps out of the hole, and the head part 2 of the key turns by 180 degrees for its rod 1. Consequently, it is possible to see a part on the opposite side to the main body 4 through the window.</p> |
