PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for thermowelding a molded article molded from a thermoplastic resin so constituted that a conductor or the like of a resistance heating element may boy protrude out of the molded article and a molded article for thermowelding. SOLUTION: A hole 25 of a small diameter is formed in a molded article in advance such that a resistance heating element 40 held between joined surfaces is partially exposed, and in thermowelding articles, a voltage impressing terminal 50 is inserted into the small-diameter hole 25 so as to impress a voltage to the resistance heating element 40 to thereby generate heat. After the voltage impression is completed, the small-diameter hole 25 is left as it is, a staged portion 26 is formed in the small-diameter hole 25 so that it is heated to be collapsed, or a sealing body is fitted ion the small-diameter hole 25 to seal it. |
