<p>The axial piston pump has a piston block connected by a central spindle, spherically headed each end and spring loaded which fits into the middle of the swashplate. This swashplate consists of a drive ring (4) around the outside of a set of segments (5-2) forming a ring. Each segment has a seating (5) for the spherical end of a spherical ended pump piston (3). Each seating is fitted into a cylindrical part (5-1) of a segment. Between the flanged face of the segment and the rear face of the drive ring (4) is a spring which holds the segment in contact with the member (8) behind, forming part of the housing (7). This member is the outer race of a roller bearing.</p> |
