Tinted optical glass stack or package has three rectangular or circular elements, which are transparent and provided with complementary corrugations, and which are movable relative to one another by distance between zero and max. values to provide transparent and opaque conditions. Corrugations are spaced at suitable distances w.r.t. the optical axes, whereby the troughs of the corrugations are staggered by a distance the corrugations being so formed in the intermediate element which is enclosed between cover elements. when both elements are spaced from the element by certain distances, rays are totally reflected either by the corrugations and remmerge. Displacement of the elements relative to the element is effected by means of a locking mechanism which carries the elements as a fixed element. Used in optics, photography domestic and industrial illumination.
