An electrochemical measuring device for determining the concentration of /- 1 first gas in a gas mixture, has a measuring chamber (20) through which the gas mixture flows and /- 1 measuring cell (16) inside the chamber to one side of the gas flow. The first gas is allowed to diffuse from the gas flow into cell. A first filter or membrane (18) impermeable to the first gas is provided in a in a different region than first gas diffusion path to allow into the cell a suitable amount of a second gas needed for the cell to function. The first gas is nitric oxide (NO) or nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and the second gas is water vapour. |
