SUBSTANCE: strain of Streptomyces cremeus 1979 GNZA 2166 - a producer of antibiotic apramycin is obtained by mutagen effect on museum culture Streptomyces cremeus subsp. tobramycini followed by step variants selection showing maximal productivity with respect to apromycin accumulation and the absence of concomitant antibiotics. EFFECT: strain indicated above, increased production of apramycin.
