SUBSTANCE: method consists in formation of circular shot flow, separation of flow into two parts and direction them to opposite sides where worked article is located. The device for embodiment of the offered method includes impeller 1 installed for rotation round vertical axis 2 by drive 3 in working chamber 4 which is separated by guides 5 into two hollows 6 whose periphery parts are made in the form of channels parallel to device longitudinal axis. Worked articles 11 are placed in channels 7. In addition, device has receiving bin 9 and other accessories of similar devices. Technical and economic efficiency of the invention is determined by extension of the types of worked articles, in particular, shot-blasting of long articles, for instance, pipes prior to their coating with insulation and for their cleaning, and also for cleaning and hardening of bars and other products.
