FIELD: insulation coatings. SUBSTANCE: method includes anodization of metal surface in plasma-sparkle discharge conditions after preliminary electrochemical polishing of surface. Anodization is carried out in molten eutectic sodium and potassium nitrate mixture at 230-310 C, plasma-sparkle discharge voltage 100-130 V, and current density 8-10 A/sq.cm. Method enables manufacturing insulation coatings with minimum porosity, high specific surface and volume resistance, high heat conductivity, heat resistance, and high breakdown potential value rendering coating appropriate in manufacturing metal oxide carriers for thick-film hybrid integrated circuits.
