摘要 FIELD: rolled stock production, namely manufacture of relatively small bent bars. SUBSTANCE: drive mechanism of multistand section bending mill includes motor, reduction gear, tension apparatus and endless chain. Said chain embraces sprockets mounted in pairs in end portions of working shafts. Sprockets of upper shafts have diameter more than sprockets of lower shafts. Said chain embraces a part of said sprockets along S-shaped path. Branches of said chain embracing sprockets of each pair are inclined relative to horizontal plane. Remaining pairs of sprockets are provided with additional sprockets whose diameter is less than that of sprockets of said lower shafts. Said additional sprockets and respective sprockets of lower shafts are embraced by chain along V-shaped curvilinear path. Said branches of chain are inclined relative to horizontal plane by angle being at least equal to inclination angle relative to horizontal plane of chain branches embracing said sprockets along S-shaped path. The above mentioned angle is equal to inclination angle relative to horizontal plane of chain branches embracing sprockets of upper shafts or it is less than that angle.
