Disclosed is a manufacturing method of packed battery connecting a plurality of cells in series, with the purposes of improving the charge/discharge characteristics, and enhancing the productivity. A convex electrode terminal (13) formed above one cell (11) preliminarily is welded to one end of a lead tab (15), and other cell (2) is disposed above the cell connecting the lead tab so that the center lines of the two cells may face the same direction, and in this state, the flat electrode terminal (24) formed in the lower part of the other cell and the other end of the lead tab (15) are welded indirectly.
