The lift consists of a horizontal frame (1) which is built-up from two parallel longitudinal beams (2,3) and two parallel cross beams (4,5) which are attached to th ends of the longitudinal beams. Wheels are mounted on the ends of the longitudinal beams with which the frame can be moved along rails (10,11) The two cross beams are in the shape of rails in between which intermediate frames (20,30) are mounted. The two intermediate frames can be moved independently from one another and carry telescopic lifting gear (27,37) with arms which can be moved under the vehicle to be lifted
