Shaft string bearing for drive coupling

The shaft for a drive transmission has at least one intermediate support bearing for the axially sectioned hollow shaft. The intermediate support has a bearing (6) with at least three bearing rollers positioned circumferentially spaced around the shaft and extending along axes parallel to the shaft and inside a housing (61). The rollers are mounted symmetrically around the shaft in a vertical plane (V). The bearing assembly has at least two of the rollers fitted with their rotary axes below that of the shaft.
