Vehicle muscle drive to be used mainly with mountain bikes and wheelchairs; the drive contains levers (4, 5) hingedly mounted on an axle (8) on both sides of a bottom double tube (1) of the frame to make oscillatory movements about the axle (8), said levers having identical gear segments (15, 16) with curved outer toothed edges and movable inside the gap formed by the double tube (1) of the frame. The drive contains two dynamic parts symmetrically disposed about the vehicle axle and linked by a closed chain gear (21) with a freewheel (10) having two identical driving parts (28, 29), said chain (21) being closed between one supporting end (26), rigidly connected with the lower end of one gear segment (15), and the other supporting end (27), rigidly connected with the lower end of other gear segment (16), through one supporting gear (22), one part (28) of the freewheel (10) and, in the portion of flexible connection (25) by a reverse guide roller (24), through another part (29) of the guide roller (10) and another supporting gear (23).
