Car lock with axial fixing pin which is indexed with intermediate casing

The lock has a rotor mounted so that it rotates around its axis (A1) in an intermediate casing (12) which rotates around the axis (A1) in a fixed shell (10). The intermediate casing (12 ) is held axially in the shell by a radial pin (16). The outer edge of the pin (26) fits into a housing (18) in the shell and the internal end (20) fits into an external, annular groove (22) in the casing. The inner edge of the pin has an indexing lug (44) which rests elastically against a one face (52) of the groove IN which there is a notch (54) so that the lug fits into the notch to index a particular angular position of the casing in relation to the shell.
