摘要 A compact cell stacking arrangement for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) has a column of such cells able to slide relative to neighbouring structural elements. Compensation elements (8,11) are provided which allow the mechanical movement of the column and are arranged so that they seal off the guide paths (6,7) of the oxygen-carrying gas and insulate the column from the neighbouring structural elements. The connections of the stack inside a column and with the neighbouring column are detachable. The stacks have the same dimensions. The surfaces provided for current transmission are parallel. The end plates of the stacked columns are pressed on one side against a surface and on the other side of the column are supported by insulating blocks on elastic buffers.
