Switching current detector for reference voltage circuit

The detector has a detector circuit (30), detecting the current supplied to the reference voltage circuit (20) and a circuit (40) for restarting the reference voltage circuit when the detected current is below a given value. The current detector may have a transistor cooperating with part of the reference circuit to provide a current reflector and a second transistor of opposite type. The output signals from both transistors are fed to an inverter (32).
