The system comprises a signal receiver (4) connected to a central processing unit (8) which redirects to the brake (20) of each wheel (14). The temperature of each brake is determined by a temperature measuring device (16) connected to the central processing unit (8) where it is compared with a stored predetermined temperature limiting value. A first standard distribution algorithm is stored in the central unit and in accordance with which a predetermined overall braking force is divided into individual braking forces if the defined temperature is less than, or the same as, the predetermined value. If the temperature is higher, a second algorithm divides the overall braking force into pulse-width modulated individual forces.
