Pistol lock system

The pistol consists of a handle (1) and a slide (2) moving against a spring in a groove. The barrel and crosspiece (4) are in the slide. The barrel has an attachment against a stop on the crosspiece, which fits in recesses in the slide. The handle has two angled stops acting with similar ones on the crosspiece. When the slide moves back, the crosspiece does so too, acting on the stop on the barrel attachment, and is lowered into the handle, disengaging from the slide. When the slide moves forward it hits another barrel attachment, pushing it forward along with the upwardly moving crosspiece, back to the original position.
