An emergency drain, with opening tools (4,5) is controlled by crash conditioned impact energy. It is provided at a place where cooling agent can escape relatively safely with minimum harm to vehicle occupants. The emergency drain is located as far down as possible with regard to the vertical axis of the vehicle, or at least carries the escaping cooling agent in this direction. The emergency drain is an intended break point inside a unit or in the wall of a pipe carrying the agent.
