Beverage fill valves (311), adapter nozzles (360) for placement at the discharge end of beverage fill valves (311), novel counterpressure, and snift discharge valves (462) including plungers, actuators or buttons (474), and unique counterpressure snift flow paths (387) in novel combination with fill valves and/or fill valves with adaptor nozzles (360), and related methods are disclosed, whereby automatic filling of a can having a smaller diametral opening at the top thereof is accommodated.
