The device consists of a battery (4) made up of electric accumulators (1) connected to a unit (2) and to a unit (3) respectively managing their discharging and their recharging. The management of the discharging and recharging of each accumulator (1) is totally independent of the others. The unit (2) connects to the apparatus not forming part of the invention and supplied by the battery, the minimum number of accumulators required for its operation. These are completely discharged before other accumulators are connected by the unit (2). The unit (3) enables the recharging of the discharged accumulators among which the minimum number of non-depleted accumulators. The system thus reduces the loss of performance noted in certain batteries or certain accumulators which are recharged before being completely depleted and increases their longevity.
