The compressor has an airtight container provided in between a cylinder block (22) and a cylinder cover (23). Compression space is formed in the airtight container. A valve plate (50) which is provided with air inlet hole (51) and a discharge hole (52) guides inlet and discharge of coolant of refrigeration system. An inlet valve (70) and a discharge valve (60) which opens and closes to the inlet hole and discharge hole are provided in the compressor space. The shuttling movement of the compressor relates with the opening and closing of the inlet and the discharge valves to the inlet hole and the discharge hole respectively.
