Sealable reusable can or container spout

The spout has a screw-in and off thread (2) plus pierce tip (1), channel (4) and separate closure cap (5) as well as a seal (3) and packing (6). The spout material and design are optional and the cap (5), if used should be integral. The thread can be replaced by a snapper or plug- or latch-on device, and the tip can be replaced by a cut-in edge. Various types of adaptor (7) are used to regulate and meter the flow volume and the seal (3) alone can be sufficient thus without the packing ring (6). The spout has its own vent hole. In use, the spout is gripped above the seal so the downward tip can pierce the can etc. leaving a small hole for the spout thread to engage so the packing ring seats onto the top of the can etc. as seal. The cap (5) closes off the spout as required, and the spout is simply screwed out of the emptied can etc. for reuse.
