<p>A latex of a conjugated diene polymer rubber to which a mercapto compound of general formula (1) is bonded through the thiol group: (HS-R1-M-)n-R2 (wherein R1 is a C¿1?-C10 hydrocarbon group; M is -CO2- or -SO3-; n is an integer of 1 to 6; and when n is 1, R?2¿ is hydrogen, alkali metal, -NR¿4? (wherein R is H, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl), alkyl or alkoxyalkyl, while when n is 2 to 6, R?2¿ is a C¿2?-C18 organic group or a C2-C5 heterocyclic group). The latex is useful as the raw material for the production of foam.</p> |
